Wear Orange and Support Moms Demand Action
Tragic headlines about gun violence can make us wonder if the problem is too big to solve. You may ask yourself, “What can I possibly do to help end these shootings?” The truth is that every American has a role to play – and every action, no matter how small, brings us closer to a future free from gun violence.
North Texas Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense invites you to demonstrate your commitment to enacting common sense, middle-ground solutions to help end the epidemic of gun violence. By participating in the Dallas Wear Orange Walk on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM, you can show your support for Moms Demand Action nationwide as they observe the 3rd anniversary of the horrific shooting at Newtown. Wear Orange and demonstrate that we will not stop moving forward, will keep being visible, and will never give up!
To RSVP and receive details about the event, contact Rebecca Marmaduke, member of the Oak Cliff UU Social Justice Committee and Faith Outreach Team Lead for North Texas Moms Demand Action. She may be reached via email at rebmarmad@yahoo.com
